Yeah, on paper it sounds less than it is! The Secret Life of My Secretary is proving to be too good to pass up, so recap it is! Min-ik gives a half smile at that and says he wanted to give her this so they could end their work relationship on a good note. The chemistry of the two leads is great. I am so glad there are now recaps for the drama that has been the highlight of my week since it started and despite the well-liked romcoms recently I haven't into one this much for so long. He is able to exude a variety of emotions super effectively and his smile drags me in even though I am a jaded old drama addict. Except the sharp pain in his head convinces him it’s reality and he starts to panic. Which is super charming! It's been quite some time since I fell in love with a romcom this thoroughly, but The Secret Life of My Secretary managed to do that and more. The use of face-blindness was a very interesting and different twist to the pretty common office-romance type of show. Hmmmm, intrigue. Thank you this recap. Oops, sorry, I thought this is more like a thread for the drama, not a regular recap. thank you for the recap. I cant remember what distracted me. He is REALLY cute in "On Your Wedding Day" too! It's very old-school in many respects but with multiple twists to the old formula as well. I get why she did it, and I fully sympathize. On the patio, the attacker pulls out a knife and Min-ik askes in disbelief if he’s really going to stab him. Min-ik is worried sick since he had always been told to avoid any kinds of stress after his past operation (he sites this as the reason he never does any physical activity and avoids crowded places). Gal-hee immediately stomps a salute and swears that she never needs any rest, shouting to the shocked Min-ik, “I will run with you even to the point of risking my life.” When she promises that she’ll work until her armpits become a salt farm (again, ew), Min-ik caves. "What's your ideal type?" I understand that it's part of most kdrama stories so i accept it but this drama has me skipping to the end of episodes to see if the lie is revealed or if honesty wins out over "timing" and the writer's manipulative plotting. , "BTW, is the name Jung Gal Hee a female version of Jang Geu Rae (Misaeng)???". js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js";
This drama is all the right kind of cheesiness and angst and im grateful we’re recapping it. I’ve laughed so many times because of him rather than the comedy of the drama itself. Better late than never! DMI is like a dopey, cute Labrador. Glaring at her brother over the false alarm, Gal-hee swears that she’ll work hard to earn the money to send her sister to the same school that Min-ik attended, determined that she’ll be a success and won’t have to stand in the wings like Gal-hee. Min-ik give Gal-hee an extra boost up and she eagerly chomps the snack right off, then the two are running back. Gal-hee is feeling pretty good, thinking that her boss is considering hiring her, that is right up until she buzzes him into his apartment complex and opens the gate smack into his forehead. There's no way the overloads can ever stop people from posting reactions on there walls, so if you want to be a Beanie you have to either get used to spoilers or (gasp) avoid fan walls. And since I haven't been in the headspace of 'he doesn't know, and this is gonna blow up real bad,' I haven't had to sit around worrying about what's going to end up happening. Misaeng is my favorite drama of all time. So true. How is that body shaming??? I've been really enjoying it surprisingly. His smile is so unique because of his upturned mouth, if you know what I mean. All the secretaries get well and truly plastered and start cursing Min-ik’s poor treatment of their (now) beloved Gal-hee. It's a style of over-the-top acting that I rarely enjoy, and it pulls me out of the story a lot. Plus i;ve recently returned to db so i don't know what the spoiler policy is. This smart guy not only recognizes people who he has met just once but also has an insight to read others’ thoughts until he is diagnosed with face blindness. He tries to focus on the doctor, but each time he blinks his face morphs into a different person. Strongly support this!so that we can better focus in discussing each and every episode and dissecting their very cute and fluffy plots!
